Right now
Lou isn’t open yet. Today this website only collects early-access sign-ups: your name, email address, what you’re growing, anything you add, such as your link, and which free tool you came from, if any. We also keep a scrambled version of your email address to limit spam, and our hosting providers process technical information such as IP addresses. Sign-ups are kept in our private inbox on OpenAI Sites, on Cloudflare’s network, and we may email ourselves a copy. We keep them until you ask us to remove them, and no more than 2 years after you sign up. Our host’s network may also set a short-lived security cookie to tell people from bots. Our free tools run in your browser and don’t upload your files. We keep a daily count of how often each is opened, finished and used to reach Lou, with nothing about you or your files.
We use sign-ups to tell you about Lou and to learn what people need. We don’t sell them or text you. To see or delete yours, or to come off the list, email everest@luven.ai.
Everything below describes how Lou is planned to work once it opens.
The short version
- You approve every post. Lou doesn't post anything you haven't approved.
- Your videos stay private until you post them. We have no public gallery.
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't use your uploads, videos or connected account data to train AI models. Where an AI provider lets us turn off training on what we send it, we do.
- You can disconnect an account or ask us to delete your data at any time.
Who we are
Luven Technologies LLC runs Lou and luven.ai. Address: Ocala, Florida. Questions: everest@luven.ai.
Lou is for business use by people 18 or older. It's offered in the United States for now, and not yet in the European Union or the United Kingdom.
What we collect
Your account. Name, email, the one-time codes you sign in with, and the workspace you create.
Your business. The website or store link you give us, your logo, and what Lou reads from your public pages: product names, images, prices and brand details. If you have no website, we use the answers and photos you give us. Pressing Make my previews is your statement that you own or may use the site. We log that with the time and your account, and keep a record of the site so free previews stay limited to once per site.
Your content. Files you upload, your instructions and chat messages to Lou, and the scripts, voiceovers and videos Lou makes for you.
Your connected accounts. When you connect a social account, we receive an access token or a key that stands for one, your account name, ID and picture, the posts Lou publishes for you, and results such as views and likes for those posts.
Clicks on links Lou hosts. If you use a link Lou hosts, we count clicks on it. Standard technical data such as IP address may be processed to deliver the link and stop abuse. We don't use it to build a profile of the person clicking.
Payments. Stripe handles your card. We see the plan, the last four digits and payment status. We don't store full card numbers.
Use and security. Pages used, jobs run, errors, IP address, device type and time. We use cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure, not for advertising. Our host's network may also set a short-lived security cookie to tell people from bots.
Messages. What you send us when you ask for help.
Early access. If you join early access: your name, email, what you're growing and anything you add, such as your link, plus which free tool you came from, if any.
Free tools. Our free tools run in your browser and don't upload your files. We keep a daily count of how often each tool is opened, finished and used to reach Lou, with nothing about you or your files.
How we use it
- To make your videos, post what you approve, and show you how posts did.
- To suggest what to post next for your business, based on your own results. YouTube results are shown as YouTube gives them and don't feed Lou's scores unless YouTube has approved that.
- To charge you, return credits for failed jobs, and keep the service safe, including spending limits and fraud checks.
- To answer you and tell you about the service. You can opt out of marketing email at any time.
Improving Lou. We improve our formulas using our own records of how they're used across customers: which formula was used, whether the owner approved or edited the video, whether they came back, and clicks on links Lou hosts. We use these only in aggregate, as rounded counts across several customers, so that no customer, account or post can be picked out. We don't show one customer's numbers to another. Results from YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and TikTok aren't part of this. They're used only for the business they belong to. If that changes for a platform, we'll update this page first.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it to target ads to you or anyone else.
Tokens and security
- Access tokens and posting keys are encrypted, using a key kept outside the database, and only our servers can use them. We keep them out of your browser and our logs.
- While we post through a partner, that partner holds the platform's token, and we hold an encrypted key that points to it.
- We limit staff access and use two-factor login on our main systems.
- No system is perfectly safe, and we can't promise yours will never be affected. If a breach affects your data, we'll tell you as the law requires.
No public gallery, and AI labels
- Videos are visible only inside your workspace until you post them. Links used to send a video to a platform are temporary. There is no gallery, and share pages are off.
- Lou uses AI to write scripts, read brand details, make some shots and create voiceovers. Free previews use no AI shots or AI voice.
- When a video has an AI voice or realistic AI-made people or scenes, and a platform offers an AI label, Lou turns it on when posting. If a required label can't be set, Lou won't post that video there. We don't create fake people by default.
- You can tell us if something made with Lou misuses your image. See "Contact and complaints".
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us run Lou, and only what they need. We update this list when it changes.
| Company | Why | Data |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosting | Everything passing through the app |
| Supabase | Accounts and database | Account and workspace data |
| Cloudflare | Network, file storage, visit counts | Files, technical data |
| Trigger.dev | Running background jobs | Job details |
| Stripe | Payments | Billing details |
| fal | AI video and images | Prompts, images you provide |
| ElevenLabs | AI voiceovers | Script text |
| Anthropic | Writing and reading, including Lou's chat | Your instructions, brand details |
| Our posting partner, named here once chosen | Posting to platforms | Videos, captions, tokens, results |
| Our error tracking and email providers | Running the service | Technical data, email address |
When you connect an account, you may see our posting partner's name on the platform's own consent screen. That's the approved app that posts for us.
These companies handle data under their own terms. We also send your videos and captions to the platforms you choose, when you approve them. Once posted, they follow that platform's rules.
We share information if the law requires it, or to protect people or our rights. If the company is sold or merged, your data may move to the new owner under this policy, and we'll tell you.
Each platform
YouTube. Lou uses YouTube API Services. By using Lou's YouTube features you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's Privacy Policy also applies. We access your channel's name and picture, upload videos you approve, and read results for those videos. We delete or refresh YouTube data within 30 days. We may keep statistics such as view counts longer, and we check every 30 days that you still authorize this. We keep the token until you disconnect. You can remove Lou's access at any time on Google's security settings page. If you do, we delete your YouTube data from our active systems within 30 days. If you disconnect inside Lou, we do so within 7 days.
Google. Lou's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use it to provide or improve features you can see in Lou. We don't sell it or use it to train general AI models.
TikTok. We access your display name and picture, and publish videos you approve, with the privacy and interaction settings you choose. We pass on the AI-generated label when set. We add no Lou or Luven branding to videos sent to TikTok. You can remove access in TikTok's settings.
Instagram and Facebook. We access your account or Page name and picture, publish approved Reels, and read results if you use that feature. You can remove Lou in your Instagram or Facebook settings, and ask us to delete your data as set out in "Delete your data".
LinkedIn. We access your name, the Pages you administer, and results for posts Lou published. We delete LinkedIn content when you ask or when you close your account, and within 10 days at the latest.
X. We publish posts you approve from your account. Connecting isn't consent to post by itself, so we ask for your approval on each post. We don't use X content to train AI.
How long we keep it
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Tokens and posting keys | Deleted when you disconnect, within 7 days at the latest |

Delete your data
By email, including if you came from Facebook or Instagram: write to everest@luven.ai from your account email and say "delete my data." If you've removed Lou from Facebook or Instagram settings, this is also how you ask us to delete what we hold from Meta.
What happens: if you're on a paid plan, it ends at once, so you won't be charged again. What you've paid isn't refunded, except where the law requires it. We revoke access or ask our posting partner to, cancel scheduled posts, delete tokens, and delete the rest within 30 days, apart from backups and what the law or our safety work needs us to keep, as set out in "How long we keep it". We tell you when it's done.
Posts already published stay on the platforms. Delete them there. We can't reach them after you disconnect.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data. Email us and we'll answer within 45 days. Some state laws give you more rights, and we honor them where they apply.
Lou doesn't track you across other companies' sites, so we don't respond differently to Do Not Track signals.
Contact and complaints
everest@luven.ai. To report content that uses your image or copyright without permission, write to the same address and tell us where it is and why.
