Who these terms are between

You, the business using Lou, and Luven Technologies LLC ("we"). Address: Ocala, Florida. By creating an account you accept these terms and confirm you can bind your business.

Lou is for business use by people 18 or older, and is offered in the United States for now. It isn't sold to consumers for personal use.

What Lou does

Lou reads your website or store and your logo, makes short marketing videos, suggests what to post, and posts what you approve to the accounts you connect.

You approve every post. Lou doesn't publish anything without your approval. Lou doesn't run ads in this version.

Sites you paste

You must own any site or store you paste into Lou, or have permission to use it. Pressing Make my previews, or any button that starts a video from a site, is your statement that this is true. We log it with the time and your account. Don't paste a rival's site or make videos posing as another business. We may ask for proof, add a stronger check, or remove videos and close accounts when someone complains.

Free previews

After you verify your email and press Make my previews, you get up to 3 free preview videos, once per account and once per site. If your site says little, Lou may ask you a few questions first, or make fewer. A preview that fails doesn't count, within a daily limit on failed tries. Previews have no AI shots or AI voice, and carry a visible preview mark. Lou uses AI to write their scripts. One may show Lou, our character. Downloading, posting, AI shots and AI voice need a paid plan and a card, unless we've invited you to test Lou. Free previews are limited each day, so you may wait in a queue, and we may change or end them.

Free tools

Our free tools run in your browser, with no account. Use them only with files you have the right to use. What you make is yours to use, with the mark the tool adds. They come as they are, with no promise of results, and a tool's checks aren't legal advice.

No promise of results

We don't promise views, followers, customers, sales or growth. Lou is new, and it may have errors and outages. Suggestions are only suggestions, and AI can make mistakes. Check everything before you approve it.

Your account

Keep your email and login safe. You're responsible for what happens under it. Tell us at once if you think someone else got in.

Plans, credits and renewal

• Plans and prices are on the pricing page. Each plan includes a set number of videos and a set number of seconds of AI footage. These terms call those videos and seconds "credits." Every plan has limits. When your videos run out, jobs stop until your plan renews or you move to a bigger plan. When your seconds of AI footage run out, Lou makes videos without AI shots until then.
• Videos reset each month. Unused seconds of AI footage carry over while you stay subscribed, and end when you cancel. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
• Plans renew automatically each month at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel. We show the price, the renewal date and how to cancel before you pay, and send a receipt.
• You can cancel at any time on your Plan page, online, with no need to contact us. You keep access until the paid period ends.
• We set daily spending limits to protect you and us, and may pause jobs that look like fraud.
• We'll give at least 30 days' notice of a price change. Prices don't include taxes, which you pay where they apply.

Refunds

Failed jobs return unspent credits automatically. If a job fails and delivers nothing, we return the credits it held and hadn't spent, with no need to ask. We don't return more than the job held.

AI shots that already ran. If a render fails after paid AI shots finished, those credits were spent. You keep the shots or retry with them, and they aren't returned. A failed render doesn't leave a downloadable video.

• Failed render: the job ended in error or produced no usable file.
• Failed post: the platform or our posting partner refused the post. It doesn't use up a video from your plan, because a video is used when it's made, and Lou shows you the status so you can retry. If a post may have gone out but we can't confirm it, Lou asks you to check your account before trying again.

Not a failure: you don't like the result, a post gets few views, or a platform later removes or limits a post.

Subscription fees. Apart from returned credits, payments aren't refundable, including for a period that has already started, except where the law requires a refund. Credits returned for failed jobs come back as credits, not cash. If we charged you by mistake, write to us and we'll fix it.

Disputes. If a payment is refunded or disputed, its credits are removed. If they've been spent, your balance can go negative and your account is blocked until that's settled, and jobs and posting stop while a dispute is open.

Connected accounts and platform rules

• Connect only accounts you own or may manage. You authorize us and our service providers to post for you when you approve a post.
• You must follow each platform's rules, including AI labels and commercial content rules. You're responsible for what you approve.
• By using Lou's YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's Privacy Policy also applies.
• Disconnect at any time. Scheduled posts for that account are cancelled.
• Platforms and posting partners can change their rules, limit features or suspend access, with or without notice. We aren't responsible for those decisions, or for a platform limiting your account. If a platform's posting goes away for good, you can cancel.

AI labels and people

• Lou doesn't create fake people by default. If a video includes an AI voice or a realistic AI-made person or scene, you must label it where the law or a platform requires. A video with AI footage, an AI voice or Lou, our character, gets an AI label wherever a platform offers one, and you shouldn't remove it. If a required label can't be set, Lou won't post that video there. Some places require ads with synthetic performers to say so.
• Don't use Lou to show a real person, or use anyone's face, voice or name, without their permission. Lou doesn't offer avatars or voice clones in this version.
• TikTok bars apps from adding branding, so Lou adds none of its own to TikTok videos, and our character stays out of them.

What you can't do

Don't use Lou for:

• Sexual content, anything involving minors in a sexual way, or intimate images without consent
• Deceiving people, fake reviews, fake endorsements, or made-up results
• Fake accounts, bots, spam or the same post across many accounts on one platform
• Copying other people's content or other platforms' videos into TikTok
• Hate, harassment, violence, or illegal goods
• Breaking or probing Lou, reselling Lou, or using it to build a competing service
• Regulated claims (health, finance, legal) without the approvals they need

We can block or remove content, and suspend accounts, for these reasons.

Your content and what Lou makes

• You keep your content. You give us permission to host, process and send it only to run Lou for you, including sending it to the service providers in our privacy policy and the platforms you choose.
• You promise you have the rights to what you upload and the sites you paste, including logos, faces, screen recordings and music.
• As between you and us, what Lou makes for you is yours to use, including commercially, once paid for. We can't promise that AI-made output can be protected by copyright, or that similar output won't be made for someone else.
• Our formulas, templates, software and Lou's character and name stay with us or our licensors. If our character appears in your video, you may use him as part of that video, but not apart from it.
• There's no public gallery. Your videos stay private until you post them, and we won't use them in our marketing without written permission.
• We don't use your content to train AI models.
• You allow us to use records of how Lou is used across customers to improve our formulas, only in aggregate, so that no customer, account or post can be picked out. We don't show one customer's numbers to another. Results from connected platforms aren't part of this unless the privacy policy says so.

Copyright and image complaints

If you think something made or stored with Lou infringes your rights, write to everest@luven.ai and tell us where it is and why. We may remove it and close repeat offenders' accounts.

Service changes and suspension

We may change Lou, and will tell you before removing something important. We may suspend or end your account for breaking these terms, non-payment or risk to others. You can leave at any time. Your data is then handled as the privacy policy says. If you ask us to delete your data, that ends your plan at once, and what you've paid isn't refunded, except where the law requires it.

Disclaimers

Please read this section carefully. Lou is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we give no other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise Lou will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every post will publish on time.

Limits on liability

Please read this section carefully. To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

You'll cover certain claims

If someone claims against us because of content you uploaded, a site you pasted, a post you approved, or your breach of these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees.

Disputes

Please write to us first, so we can try to settle it.

Other terms

These terms and the privacy policy are our whole agreement on Lou. If a part can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something, we can still do so later. We may transfer these terms if the company is sold or reorganized, and you can't transfer them without our written OK. We aren't responsible for delays caused by things outside our reasonable control, including outages at platforms and vendors. Parts that should last after your account ends, such as ownership, disclaimers, limits and disputes, do.

Changes

If we make a change that matters, we'll email account owners at least 30 days before it applies. If you don't agree, cancel before then.
